To where buying decisions are made: the brain.

Christian Dietz with a microphone, pointing at the screen Christian Dietz laughing as he opens his jacket to reveal the FRED T-shirt Christian Dietz in front of the slide showing FRED on the beach

Christian Dietz takes his audience to where buying decisions are made and advertising sticks: the brain. As a keynote speaker on neuromarketing, he shows how insights from neuroscience make marketing, advertising and e-commerce more effective – and how a strong brand turns into more revenue.

He has run the agency NEUBLCK for more than 20 years. On stage he explains, with scientific grounding and plenty of humour, what goes on in customers’ heads. At OMT, participants rate him 4.9 out of 5 stars. Available as a keynote, talk, seminar or workshop.

Sabotage in Your Head

How the brain sets traps for us

Why does our thinking keep falling into the same traps? And why do fake news and manipulation find it so easy to get in there? Drawing on neuroscience, Christian Dietz shows how advertising, politics and social media reach our subconscious – and how to become harder to steer.

Audience: For everyone, no prior knowledge needed.

Length: 30 to 45 minutes

Neuromarketing for SMEs

What smaller firms can learn from the big players

Brands. Bring. Business.

How SMEs build a strong brand

TALK

The Neuro-Conversion Framework

The sales booster for more clicks and purchases

Christian Dietz shows how companies can get more out of their online marketing with neuromarketing. His framework works like a domino effect: it starts with an offer that lowers the risk for customers as far as possible. Further effects build on that until the first click turns into a purchase.

Audience: For marketing departments, agencies and marketing conferences.

Length: About 45 minutes

TALK

Your Brand’s DNA

How employer branding works from the inside out

A brand grows from within. Only when employees understand it and identify with it do they carry it convincingly to the outside world. Christian Dietz shows how this creates employer branding that strengthens both image and appeal as an employer.

Audience: For everyone in a company.

On stage

What you and your audience can expect

For Christian Dietz, successful marketing starts between the ears. His talks are known for their distinctive visual language and wonderfully idiosyncratic edutainment. He deliberately lets the grey cells loose on the colourful world of advertising. Entertaining? Absolutely. But always with ideas that don’t simply leave your head once the talk is over.

Christian Dietz shows

  • why exciting advertising has to be smarter,
  • why successful e-commerce is always about psychology too,
  • why strong brands trigger more than a nice logo,
  • and how companies use neuromarketing to increase sales, even on a small budget.

Fast

Decided in milliseconds. Justified later.

R

Reward-driven

Only what pays off counts.

Emotional

Feeling comes before argument.

Do-nothing

The easiest option is to do nothing at all.

This is what the slides look like.

Every slide is a picture, often starring FRED. The brain remembers pictures more easily than bullet points. That’s the whole trick.

About me

From journalist to neuromarketing speaker

It all started with writing: as a schoolboy for the local paper Main-Echo, later while studying technical journalism. Today Christian Dietz runs the agency NEUBLCK, which has been in business for more than 20 years, and explains on stage what goes on in customers’ heads. Making complex topics so clear that people enjoy listening: that thread runs through his whole career.
